FA Announce new guidelines...
The FA have finally had their new guidelines for the return of competitive grassroots sport ratified by the government, meaning the county FAs can start planning the return of leagues and in turn we can start planning the return to normal training, tournaments and games. I’ve linked the details below in the top 10. Also second to last call to fill in the survey on session planning here if you haven’t done so already. Right on to the top 10!

Here looked back on eight of the most profilic top league goal scoring teams in recent memory to see if there were common themes, apparantly there were.
Facinating study on the effect of match status on physical or techincal activities of the players. i.e. Will winning a match mean you run more or less and perform your technical actions better or worse. they found that winning mean't covering mroe distance but lower intensity, however technical performance wasn't affected.
if you ever wanted to know how professional teams are using analysis to look into players, I would say this is something that comes pretty close. Have a read and let me know what you think.

Dan Abrahams on what he feels is the biggest killer of performance.....Mood. We've all been there with players who just aren't in the right 'mood' to play whether that be too lathagic, angry, flat etc. learn how to help them manage their mood.
Whilst not from a football (soccer) coach this is a great podcast episode on optimising performance during a disruption like a pandemic. Something we're all going through.
