Hi Everyone, welcome to another edition of the coach insights newsletter. One of the top ten this week really got me thinking about how current coaching courses and CPD days concentrate on the technical aspects but only really touch upon communication. Despite it being such a major element of life, let alone coaching. Something to think about when looking into your next course, CPD, or just books to improve yourself as a coach. right on to the top ten.

Not so much one for coaching but an interesting one for all of us working with young children. Are we leaving them in a better place? are they enjoying their time with us (enjoyment is subjective btw some people enjoy trying to be the best, some competing, some just getting out away from their home life that isn't school)
This had me thinking of my own coaching. Do I overcoach, can I apply the less is more approach? what am I afraid will happen if I don’t speak up?
