What do you saying during half-time?
Hi everyone, welcome to another edition of the coaching insights newsletter. As the title suggests there are a couple of articles on communicating during half-time and how best to get your messages across. It’s always a fine balance between giving information and not overloading your players. considering we can only take in 3-5 pieces of information at a time, having you as one coach and maybe another, then other players and even themselves critiquing and re-assessing how to get the most from the next half it can be difficult to make the right messages stick. What do you think? how do you make the most of half-time… right on to the top ten!

2nd one for today, from the German audience, again a fantastic good cause where I'm glad to donate 400 euros to! I will choose three concepts & three coaching points (instead of principles, because that's an issue by itself; principles = intentions), if that's okay?@ReneMaric @pablo48pr Geil 🎉 Bin zwar etwas spät dran, aber vllt habe ich ja trotzdem noch Glück: Welche zwei, drei Konzepte oder Prinzipien haben dich in den letzten Jahren begeistert/ deinen Blick stark verändert und warum? Kannst du vllt jeweils eine Spielform/ Coachingpunkte dazu nennen?Massimo Thormann @mooLylo15The coaching the coaches team with a blog on the importance of effective relationships in sport. A lot on emotional intelligence even if they don't name it as such.

Some Free Coach Education Content is now available on the below google drive link: drive.google.com/drive/folders/… Feel free to watch, download, share, like, RT. Great idea with the google drive that I stole from @CarlonCarpenterAnother good coach to follow on Twitter, David Lazlo, takes you through the individual principles within the attacking phase. How can you help players think through some of these actions and use cues to recognize others so it's almost second nature?
Carl Wild interview from the Training Ground Guru team on developing decision-making in young players. Something always needs to be worked on due to their lack of experience in situations.
